Description/History
The proposed amendment is intended to regulate residential outdoor lighting to prevent light trespass from one residential property to another. Currently the Zoning Ordinance deals only with commercial lighting issues. This issue was brought to the Council from an citizen and staff was directed to prepare an ordinance. The ordinance will apply any existing or future violations of these provisions. Staff will be available to answer questions.new requirement will help with previous issues as well as any new cases.
