Description/History

Staff received the attached petition of voluntary annexation from Micah and Bryan Adkison, owners of approximately 25.02 acres in Johnson County.  The Adkisons are working with BBCP Acquisitions to develop the property for single-family residential uses known as the Silver Oak development.

 

The annexation proceedings are shown below. The dates and time of the meetings are subject to Council approval.

 

February 4, 2019, at 6:30PM

Public hearing at the Planning and Zoning Commission on the zoning change

 

February 25, 2019, at 7pm:

1st public hearing required by Chapter 43 of the Local Government Code,

1st reading of the annexation ordinance

1st reading and public hearing of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning

 

March 4, 11, or 18, 2019 (Depending on whether Council moves the regular meeting day due to Spring Break), at 7pm:

2nd public hearing required by Chapter 43 of the Local Government Code,

2nd reading of the annexation ordinance

2nd reading and public hearing of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning

 

March 25, 2019, at 7pm:

3rd and final reading of the annexation ordinance

3rd and final reading of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning
