Requested Action
To consider the subject easement abandonment.
 
Recommendation
The Engineering Staff recommends the approval of the Utility Easement Abandonment Lot 7, Block 5, Twin Creeks Addition, Phase Five.
 
Description/History
The purpose of the easement abandonment request is to accommodate a swimming pool that the home owner would like to construct on the property.  The subject easement is adjacent to a 50' drainage easement along the rear property line.  Abandoning the 7.5' wide 90' long utility easement will increase the usable area in the rear yard to accommodate the pool.
