Requested Action
To consider the subject ordinance amendment.
 
Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on September 16, 2013, and voted 6-0 to recommend approval.  Vice-Chairman Dodson was absent.
 
Description/History
City Council has directed Staff to draft the subject amendments and has requested a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission. The intent is to accommodate a proposed auto paint and body shop north of the railroad and west of the Hwy 287 frontage road. After amendment, the paint and body shop is still required to submit site plans as part of a specific use permit approval.
