Request for Special Event Permit: Mansfield Pickle Parade and Palooza
Requested Action
Approve the Special Event Permit for the Mansfield Pickle Parade and Palooza with the conditions as provided by the various departments.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Manager or his designee be able to make modifications to the special event permit application that will ensure the safety and enjoyment of attendees, volunteers, and others.
Description
This is an annual event hosted by the Pickled Mansfield Society, and it is proposed to occur from March 15-16, 2024. The event will include a Pickle Parade; 5k; 10k; live music; vendor and food markets; children’s area; pet parade; baby parade; parking; and shuttles.
