Approve the Resolution renewing the current Tax Abatement Policy for the next two years

Approve the Resolution renewing the current Tax Abatement Policy for the next two years

 

Description/History

The State of Texas requires that the City periodically renew its tax abatement policy. Staff recommended some minor changes to the current policy as highlighted in red on the attached document.

 

Justification

The tax abatement policy provides guidelines for economic development incentives
