Description/History

David Branch, the developer of South Pointe, is seeking a minor modification on behalf of the home builders in Southpointe, David Weekly Homes, MHI (Plantation Homes), and John Houston Homes to allow an increase in the maximum lot coverage for the single-family residential homes to accommodate larger outdoor living/patio spaces (see attachments).

The developer is requesting the following adjustments in the lot coverage:

Cottage Lots (50' wide):   From 55% to 60%

Village Lots (65' wide):  From 45% to 55%

Manor Lots (75' wide):    From 45% to 55%

Staff recommends approval of the revised maximum lot coverages.
