Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on July 7, 2014, and voted 6-0 to recommend approval. Vice-Chairman Dodson was absent.
Description/History
The property was zoned C-2 in 1989, but was never developed. The adjacent property to the west and east is zoned PR, which allows the same uses as SF-12/22.
The property is approximately 156 feet in width and approximately 1,131 feet in length. The narrowness and length of the property is not conducive to commercial development by itself. The proposed residential zoning is more in keeping with surrounding zoning and land uses.
