Requested Action

Approve the Resolution reallocating the 2022-2023 HOT funds previously allocated to the Historic Mansfield Performance Park - The LOT Downtown.

 

Recommendation

 Staff recommends the approval of the Resolution.

 

Description/History

As a part of the adopting the 2022-2023 budget, the City Council allocated $150,000 in HOT Funds to the Historic Mansfield Performance Park - The LOT Downtown for programming.  Since the allocation was approved by Council, the City has take full ownership of The LOT Downtown.  The City’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Department (CVB) now oversees the programming. 

 

Justification

None of the previously allocated $150,000 has been paid out to the Historic Mansfield Performance Park - The LOT Downtown.  City staff is asking that these funds be reallocated to the City’s CVB to effectuate programming at The LOT Downtown.
