The purpose of this project is to repair and replace two existing sewer lines in the Walnut Creek Country Club golf course near hole-8 and hole-10 of the Oaks course. One location is an exposed 8” line that must be replaced and surface erosion stabilized. The other location is a 39” aerial crossing of Walnut Creek that must be replaced and the surrounding creek channel stabilized. The contract time for this project is one hundred five (105) calendar days or approximately 3.5 months.
Justification
Both locations have been in need of repair for several years and the risk of catastrophic failure has increased to an unacceptable level.
The Public Works Director will be in attendance at the meeting to answer Council’s questions regarding the proposed funding and contracts.
