Recommendation
Approval of an Amendment of Interlocal Agreement for Day Miar Road Widening between the City of Mansfield, TX and Tarrant County in an amount not to exceed $5,405,608.00 for the cooperative funding for Day Miar Road (E. Broad St. to Seeton Rd.)
Description/History
This project was approved as part of the Tarrant County 2021 Transportation Bond Program. This project is not complete and requires a renewal of the Interlocal Agreement. The primary purpose of the amendment is to modify the termination date of the agreement to September 30, 2025 to mitigate multiple renewals. The project is under construction and anticipated to be late this year.
Justification
This project is included in the 2017 Roadway Capital Plan. The City of Mansfield will receive up to $5,405,608.00 of the actual eligible project costs for Day Miar Road from the Tarrant County 2021 Transportation Bond Program.
The Director of Engineering Services will be in attendance at the meeting to answer Council’s questions regarding the proposed agreement renewal.
