Requested Action

To consider the subject zoning change request.

 

Recommendation

The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on December 21, 2015, and voted 4-1 (Hudson) to recommend approval.  Commissioner Polozola was not available for the vote due to a conflict of interest (affidavit on file) and Commissioner Horn was absent.

 

Description/History

There are several unique aspects of the property, including a wide electrical transmission line easement that runs north/south through the property. There is also a gas well site to the south. To the north and east, it is surrounded by the Corp of Engineers property and Joe Pool Lake. The request is consistent with the existing SF-8.4/18 zoning across Seeton Road.
