Resolution authorizing a one year renewable contract for the supply of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid 23% (Fluoride).
 
Recommendation
City staff recommendes awarding the bid to the loest and best bidder, DPC Chemicals Inc., for the amount of $654.40 / wet ton.
 
Description/History
The invitation to bid was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, posted on the City of Mansfield website, and bid packets were e-mailed to known suppliers and companies that requested them.
 
Justification
Hydrofluorosilicic Acid 23% (Fluoride) is used to help prvent cavities and promote oral health.
