Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on February 17, 2015, and voted 5-1-0 to recommend approval, subject to the revisions noted below. Vice-Chairman Dodson voted against the request and Commissioner Smithee was absent.
- Replace sidings to brick or stone
- Increase roof pitch from 4/12 to 6/12
- Other minor changes and clarifications
Description/History
The applicant has provided the revisions recommended by the P&Z.
The PD proposes to keep the existing house on the property which will serve as a residence to the property owner, as well as an office for the assisted living facility. A new structure will be built with eight rooms, bathrooms and a common area to accommodate up to 16 residents. There are no proposed deviations to the C-2 development requirements.
