Description/History
The site located at 450 Heritage Parkway South is approximately 3 acres and has been used as a staging area for the construction of Hawaiian Falls and Big League Dreams. With help from Tarrant Co. this project will consist of regrading approximately 2/3 of the 3 acre site. The higher elevation ground on the site will be lowered in elevation and the resulting earth will be used to fill in the lower elevations of the site. Grading will stay at least 30' away from the existing storm drain inlet located at the northwest corner of the site. SWPPP provisions will be handled by the City of Mansfield including silt fencing where appropriate.
By creating an inter-local agreement with Tarrant County, it allows the City to receive the service at a minimal charge and allows Tarrant County staff and equipment training opportunities.
Justification
Regrading this site will allow for additional overflow parking for summer weekends and special events held by Hawaiian Falls and Big League Dreams.
