Description/History
The MPFDC is making improvements at Spring Lake Estates and McClendon Park West which includes the installation of new playgrounds. The equipment was advertised publicly for bid and opened on May 14, 2015. Both playgrounds have been designed with equipment features to MPFDC standards and current regulations. Staff has met with the local HOA in the development of Spring Lake Estates and with MYBA and MGSA in the development of McClendon Park West to efficiently meet the community's needs throughout the design process.  The MPFDC voted to approve this bid at their June 18th meeting.
 
Justification
This playground equipment will assure the facilities are up to standard with other parks in the City's system.
