Description/History
Mansfield Pioneer Place - Senior Independent Living Facility, LP has propsed an affordable rental housing development known as Pioneer Place in the City of Mansfield.
By approving the resolution the City Council of the City of Mansfield voices its support in the 2010 application rounded by Mansfield Pioneer Place - Independent Senior Living Facility, LP to build an affordable housing development in the City of Mansfield to be known as Pioneer Place.
Mansfield Pioneer Place - Senior Independent Living Facility, LP intends to submit a joint application to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs ("TDHCA") for 2010 Housing Tax Credits, and HOME Investment Partnership ("HOME") program funds for The Pioneer Place housing development from TDHCA and/or Tarrant County, Texas.
Justification
The City Council hereby declares support of the application of Mansfield Pioneer Place - Senior Independent Living Facility, LP, to TDHCA and Appoints Mansfield Pioneer Place - Senior Independent Living Facility, LP to act on its behalf in applying for TDHCA Multifamily Tax Credits and TDHCA or Tarrant County, Texas for HOME Program Funds for Pioneer Place - Senior Independent Living Facility.
