To consider the subject zoning change request.
Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on April 2, 2012, and voted 7-0 to recommend approval.
Description/History
The applicant is proposing to rezone the property to SF-7.5/16. The proposed zoning is compatible with the SF-6/12 zoning of the nearby subdivisions of Remington Ranch and Fox Glen. It will provide minimum 65' wide lots compared to the 60' wide lots in the two existing subdivisions. In addition, there are a couple of manufactured home communities in the vicinity - Vinewood and Willow Bend.
