Adopt resolution supporting High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail along State Highway 360 into the Central Terminal areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
Recommendation
Adopt the attached resolution.
Description/History
At the last meeting Council became aware of a resolution that Tarrant County Commissioners adopted supporting High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail into the Central Terminal areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport utilizing the southern State Highway 360 corridor alignment. The attached resolution has been prepared for Council's consideration which supports High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail direct connection to the central terminal areas of DFW airport along SH 360 souther corridor, for same reasons stated in Tarrant County's resolution.
