Description/History
In the spring of 2013, staff met with all the youth sports associations in reference to facility improvements. Each youth association prioritized their requested improvements. Mansfield Youth Baseball Association (MYBA) requested a restroom facility for fields 7, 8 and 9.  The procurement method determined to be used was Buy Board for the structure and the installation.
Justification
The MPFDC allocated funds for the Sports Complex improvements in the 2013-2014 year's budget.  This improvement will provide a higher level of service.  The younger baseball players will have a restroom closer to their fields.  In working with MYBA, the floor plan and the contract presented represents the building to be purchased and installed. Staff is in receipt of a commitment email from MYBA for their participation in the cost to purchase the restroom building.

MPFDC unanimously approved this item at their regular meeting on August 21. Staff will be available to answer questions.
Funding Source
$125,000 from Half Cent Sales Tax
$53,977 contribution from MYBA
