Description/History
Neel-Schaffer will design a 12" and 16" water line to complete loops in the southern portion of the upper pressure plane based on the Water Master Plan. The project design will begin at Main Street and Sentry Drive and will end at Main Street and Dallas Street. Alternative locations will be considered west of the Main Street corridor to determine the most feasible alignment.
The requested funds are for design services with Neel-Schaffer Engineers in the amount of $114,300, survey, and other miscellaneous services necessary to prepare this project for construction, to be accomplished within a budget of $177,000.
Justification
This project is included in the Utility Bond Capital Improvement Plan.
The Public Works Director will be in attendance at the meeting to answer Council's questions regarding the proposed funding and contracts.
