Description/History

This private property is in the floodway/floodplain/Corp of Engineers flowage easement along Walnut Creek.  The propery acquisition is necessary for the progression of the Walnut Creek Linear Park trail extension to Joe Pool Lake.

 

Justification

This property backs up to Walnut Creek and would be a connection point along the Walnut Creek Linear Trail.  MPFDC approved the purchase 5-0 at their July 16, 2015 meeting.
