Description/History
The proposed Taco Bell is between East Broad Street and the MISD stadium parking lot. The applicants have met with staff about this development and have submitted an application for final plat approval before the moratorium. Their original plan is to close on the property at the end of September and begin construction in October or November.
The entry and exit to the new restaurant will be via the existing drive to the stadium. The drive through lane will be partially concealed by the future building and landscaping along East Broad Street. Please see the applicant's letter for his justifications, map and site plan.
