The approval of a contract award for mowing of drainage areas for FY2012.
Recommendation
The Environmental Staff recommends the approval of the contract award to CP Landscape Inc. for mowing of drainage areas and the authorization of funding.
Description/History
The project bid on January 18, 2012 and there were two bidders for the project. Bids ranged from a low bid of $31,400.00 to a high bid of $50,256.94
Staff is recommending award of this project and authorization of funding for the bid amount of $31,400.00.
The low bidder was CP Landscape Inc. The contract time for this project is twelve months. Bid tabulation is attached.
Justification
CP Landscape Inc has provided this service to the City of Mansfield for the past three years. Staff has been very satisfied with their level of service.
A Resolution is attached for Council's consideration.
Funding Source
The funding source will be the Drainage Utility Account.
