Description/History

The State of Texas requires that the City renew its tax abatement policy every two years. The current policy was approved on July 12, 2010. Staff recommends no changes to the current policy. The MEDC Board voted 6 to 0 on July 10, 2012 to renew the existing policy with no changes.

The tax abatement policy provides guidelines for economic development incentives
