Description/History

Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) was selected by the City of Mansfield (City) to provide professional services for the S.H. 360 Wastewater Lift Station (360 Lift Station) Rehabilitation project. The project includes design, bid, and construction phase services for the rehabilitation of the existing S.H. 360 Lift Station, including pump replacements, yard piping, electrical upgrades, wet well coating, and various other miscellaneous site improvements.

Justification

The 360 Wastewater Lift Station was placed into service in 2001 to serve the Lowes Farm Development.  In 2005 the Bankston Meadows Development was constructed, and the effluent wastewater for this development was routed into the 360 Lift Station.  Current conditions have reached the maximum designed capacity of the 360 Lift Station. We have had operational difficulties maintaining this lift station under its current condition. This contract will determine the overall condition and necessary improvements needed to remain in compliance with all state and federal regulations. This project was identified in the FY 2019 Utility CIP.
