Requested Action
The authorization of funds for an amount not to exceed $107,000 to prepare this project for public bidding. To direct Staff to execute contracts including Jerry Parche Consulting Engineers for design services.
Recommendation
The Engineering Staff recommends the authorization of funding and approval of contracts including Jerry Parche Consulting Engineers for design services for the South Waxahachie Street and Prairie View Drive Paving and Water Line Improvements.
Description/History
The primary purpose of this project is to improve pavement and drainage conditions. These roads are part of the Street Bond and Utility Bond Capital Improvement Plan. The requested funds are for survey, design, and other miscellaneous services to prepare this project for construction, to be accomplished within a budget of $107,000.00.
Justification
This project is part of the Street Bond and Utility Bond Capital Improvement Plan.
The Public Works Director will be in attendance at the meeting to answer Council's questions regarding the proposed funding and contracts.
