Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on February 6, 2017 and voted 6-0 to recommend approxal. Commissioner Hudson was absent.
Description/History
In December 2014, City Council made changes to the Permitted Use Table in the Zoning Ordinance to require an SUP for a Used Merchandise Store in C-2. The applicant currently operates a store with new children’s clothing and would like to add a resale component. She plans to purchase worn clothing, shoes and baby items in very good, like new condition and offer them for purchase to other residents that may be looking for that size at a discounted price. Sizes accepted will be from newborn up to size 16. See business summary provided by the applicant.
