Requested Action

Consider the subject right-of-way abandonment.

 

Recommendation

The Engineering Staff recommends the approval of the right-of-way abandonment of Sentry Drive South as described in the legal description.

 

Description/History

Staff has negotiated the dedication of the new Antler Dr. ROW, drainage easements, and temporary construction easements with Rin Co. Holdings, LP.  We have agreed that the current ROW, as shown by a previous plat and exhibit, will not be needed by the City.  This unused section of dedicated ROW on Rin Co. Holdings, LP property will therefore be abandoned to Rin Co. Holdings, LP.

 

Justification

The City has no current or future need of this ROW and by abandoning this portion of right-of-way this will allow this property to develop to its complete potential.  This will also complete negotiations with Rin Co. Holdings, LP.
