Title

Discuss and Consider Initiating Action to Revise the Zoning Ordinance to Allow Signage for Model Homes and Open Houses

Requested Action

The City of Mansfield's sign regulations do not allow the use of "model home" or "open house" signage.  Mayor Cook has requested that this item be placed on the agenda for Council discussion.  The request was supported by Council Member Hoffman, Council Member Newsom, Mayor Pro Tem Broseh, and Council Member Haynes.

Recommendation

The City's sign regulations can be found in Section 7100 of the Zoning Ordinance.  If changes are desired, action should be taken directing the Planning & Zoning Commission to consider this matter.
