Description/History
The city council approved a development and 380 agreement for the Shops at Broad Project on August 22, 2016. The agreement allows the developer to construct improvements on behalf of the City. The improvements include shared parking for the benefit of the public, as well as temporary parking and a marquee sign for the Mansfield StarCenter Sports Facility.
Justification
At the request of DSE Hockey Centers L.P., the opening date of the facility has been changed from September 1, 2017 to September 1, 2018. The proposed amendment to the development and 380 agreement adjusts only the deadlines for completion of public improvements, parking, and the marquee sign.
