Grant Applicable Park Fee Credit for the Proposed Julian at South Pointe Development
Description/History
MR Development is requesting a “Park Fee Credit” for development of the park amenities planned for The Julian at South Pointe. These amenities include a resort-style pool, pavilion featuring two cabanas, bathrooms, and an indoor/outdoor kitchen, barbecue pits and an off-leash dog area.
If credit is granted, the fees would be reimbursed upon completion of the park amenities and acceptance by the Parks and Recreation Department in accordance with the Park Land and Development Ordinance.
Justification
The estimated expenses for the proposed amenities exceed the required $168,750 in park development fees that would be billed to MR Development. These amenities will meet the recreational needs of the future residents of The Julian at South Pointe.
