Description/History

Staff received the attached petition of voluntary annexation from Larry and Teresa Stagner, owner of approximately 36.144 acres in Johnson County.  The Stagners are working with Hanover Property Company on an expansion of the Somerset development for single-family residential uses.

The annexation proceedings are shown below. The dates and time of the special meetings are subject to Council approval.

March 26, 2018, at 7 pm

•                     1^st public hearing required by Chapter 43 of the Local Government Code,

•                     1^st reading of the annexation ordinance

•                     1^st reading and public hearing of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning

April 9, 2018, at 7pm:

•                     2^nd public hearing required by Chapter 43 of the Local Government Code,

•                     2^nd reading of the annexation ordinance

•                     2^nd reading and public hearing of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning

April 23, 2018, at 7pm:

•                     3^rd and final reading of the annexation ordinance

•                     3^rd and final reading of the zoning ordinance for Pre-Development and Planned Development zoning
