Approval of the Special Event Permit for Hometown Holidays.

City staff has reviewed the application and recommends the same.

Description/History

This is an annual event to kick off the holiday season. The festivities will begin at City Hall, 1200 E. Broad Street on Friday, December 6th with a tree lighting ceremony, firework show, Santa and Mrs. Claus and fun activities for the kids. The fun will continue on Saturday with the traditional Hometown Holidays Parade beginning at 2:00 pm in downtown Mansfield.
