Description/History
The City of Mansfield currently provides jail services to the City of Burleson under an Inter-Local Agreement.
Justification
The City of Mansfield currently provides jail services to the City of Burleson under an Inter-Local Agreement which will expire on September 30, 2021. This new Inter-Local Agreement shall be for an initial term of one (1) year commencing on October 1, 2021, and ending September 30, 2022 and shall automatically extend thereafter for five successive one (1) year options unless cancelled by either of the parties as provided in Section 6 of the agreement.
Funding Source
The Inter-Local Agreement (Exhibit “A”) provides a fee schedule the City of Burleson would pay to the City of Mansfield for Jail Services as outlined in Section 3 of the agreement.
