Requested Action

Approve the Resolution allocating and appropriating remaining ARPA funds.

Recommendation

Staff recommends the approval of the Resolution.

 

Description/History

The Resolution authorizes the appropriation and allocation of remaining funds the City of Mansfield received from the American Rescue Plan Act along with the execution of any documents necessary to carry out the implementation of the projects funded.

 

Justification

City staff is proposing the following projects for funding from the remaining ARPA funds the City received. These proposed projects meet the City’s guiding principles of True NORTH by providing the residents, businesses and visitors with remarkable experiences and events to come together as one. (See attachment for Fund Allocation Chart).
