Recommendation

The Department of Planning and Development Services recommends approval of the text amendments as presented.

 

Description/History

The S, South Mansfield Form-based Development District is a form-based development code that has been used to guide the design and the development (or redevelopment) of property throughout the community.

 

The proposed text amendments are intended to replace the term “development agreement” with the term “development plan” where mentioned throughout Section 155.073, S, South Mansfield Form-based Development District.

 

The purpose of this change is to eliminate potential confusion between the provisions of the S, South Mansfield Form-based Development District (e.g., a concept plan, a phasing plan, and any other applicable project attributes) required for review, consideration, and approval by the City Council and any other development-related agreement that requires review and approval by the City Council.
