Requested Action

Approval to negotiate and finalize the contract.

 

Recommendation

Staff recommends approval.

 

Description/History

The City is in the preconstruction phase of three major capital projects: Fire Station 1, Animal Care Offices and Service Center Expansion, and City Hall. The Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method is being utilized or recommended for all projects.

 

Justification

An owner’s representative will oversee and advise the owner throughout design to provide the highest quality project for the lowest ownership cost. Peak Program Value will provide project control services on three major capital projects and advise the city throughout their design and preconstruction phases.
