Description/History
In 2018, the Mansfield Park Facilities Development Corporation (MPFDC) purchased a 3-acre tract of land along Magnolia Street that was bordered by the existing 5-acre Julian Feild Park. The acquisition of this property allows for the expansion of the park to include other amenities such as a looped walking trail, picnic stations and passive recreation. This acquisition also allows for a potential future connection to the Walnut Creek Linear Park system through James McKnight Park West.
